What is a pocket wifi?
It’s a wireless modem that connects any Wi-Fi enabled device – smartphones, laptops and tablets – to 3G internet. It requires no installation, cables or software. It works like a Wi-Fi hotspot, but it’s personal and fits in your pocket. It gives you a secure, consistent and fast internet connection wherever you are, while saving a fortune on data roaming fees.
What does it work with?
Our pocket wifi works with any Wi-Fi enabled device, such as laptops (eg. Windows and Mac), smartphones (eg. iPhone, Android, Blackberry) or tablets (eg. iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Kindle). You can connect up to 10 devices at once to a pocket wifi. It will also work with any carrier-locked devices.
How many devices can I connect?
You can connect up to 10 devices to 1 pocket wifi. Please note that the connection speed will be shared among each device connected, so having 10 devices connected at the same time could result in noticeable speed slowdown.
How long does the battery last?
A fully charged battery lasts around 6 to 8 hours. The device can be charged via the USB outlet or a wall outlet (both cables included).
How fast is the connection?
The connection is ultra-fast if you are covered with 4G. If 4G is not available in your area, then you will be connected to the 3G+ or 3G network.

How much data will I have?
As we don’t like limits, you are unlimited. Absolutely unlimited data!
Do you have long term rental special prices?
If you are going to need a mobile hotspot for long periods of time, please write us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will discuss all your options.
Can I remove the sim-card from the device?
No, the SIM card has to remain in its hotspot!
Which Service provider does DaDos use?
The Service provider that we use is DTAC. DTAC is one of the local carriers with best speed and coverage in Thailand.
How does coverage affect data speed?
In general, the better the signal in your area (indicated by more reception bars), the faster the connection speed should be.
If my cell phone can receive a signal, will the pocket wifi as well?
Not necessarily – cell phones work off of a different network than the pocket wifi, so the two are not connecting to the same signal. This is because the pocket wifi connects to data networks; 4G or lower. On the other hand, cell phones connect to mobile phone cellular networks. Since mobile phone cellular networks have been around for a lot longer than data networks, coverage is a lot better, especially in rural areas. For this reason, you might be able to make calls in a rural area but cannot connect to the internet.
Is there a signal out at sea?
If you are in a boat near the coast the unit will work but if you go out further to high sea then the unit will not receive the signal as it depends on 4G Antennas to be able to work.

How far in advance should I book?
To ensure availability, we recommend placing your order at least 10 days prior to travel departure date – however, you can still place orders closer to your departure date. For last minute order, your pocket wifi will arrive latest the day before your rental starts.
Upon placing an order, when will the pocket wifi arrive?
Your order is guaranteed to be delivered 1-3 business days before your chosen rental start date. If you need the device earlier, you need to indicate an earlier rental start date.
Can I place a last-minute order?
Our delivery agent provides next-day delivery, so any last-minute orders can be fulfilled. Please contact us for more details.
What delivery options are available to me?
You can choose to have your pocket wifi shipped to your Hotel in Thailand before you arrive, or have it shipped directly to your destination. Alternatively, you can pick up your order at The International Airport’s Post Office (Suvarnabhumi Airport , Don Muang Airport , Phuket Airport , Hat Yai Airport , Chiang Mai Airport ). Delivery is free of charge.
a) Going to a hotel or hostel?
When you book, please indicate your hotel name at the address columm during the booking process. At the time you check-in, the hotspot will already be at the hotel, waiting for you. Just ask the lobby if the receptionist forgot to give it to you.
b) Renting a house or apartment?
We will need your landlord’s name and apartment’s address, to be sure the Postman will deliver it to the correct mailbox.
When exactly does my rental begin and end?
Your rental will begin on the morning of the first day that you chose and will end on the evening of the last day.
Let’s take an example: you book a pocket wifi from October 1 to October 7 (7 days).
You can collect your pocket wifi on the morning of October 1 and use it immediately (generally it will be delivered the day before)
You have to drop it in a mailbox before October 7 at 11:59 PM… but nobody will blame you for dropping it at 12:01 AM on October 8!
How can I return the pocket wifi at the end of my rental period?
Returning the rental package back to us is easy and convenient.
Put the pocket wifi and all accessories in the Return Package we provided.
Close and seal the package tightly and drop off the package at any Post Office nearby you. This usually takes about 5-10 minutes .
Keep the EMS Drop-off Receipt with a Tracking Number for your record .

- Siam Center / Paragon – located on the first floor of the Siam Center’s Parking building (the building behind the Siam Center Shopping Complex). Open Everyday, 09:00 – 18:00. (closed during Thailand holidays)
- Phayathai BTS/Airport Link Station – located just outside the Phayathai BTS/Airport Link station (street level). Open Mon-Fri 08:00 – 17:00 and Sat 09:00 – 12:00. (closed during Thailand holidays)

I lost my return envelope, what should I do?
The best option is going to any post office, buy an envelope an put everything inside, and send it to us, our address is : 77/532, Navamin Rd Navamin Buengkum Bangkok 10240.
Can I amend my booking information after placing an order?
If you want to change your rental dates or delivery details after placing your order, you can of course do so. Just contact us and we’ll make the necessary arrangements. But once the hotspot is sent, no modification is possible. In that case, contact us.
How can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel for free up to 10 days before the rental starts. Read the Terms and conditions page for more information!
What emails will I get from DaDos?
Once your order is confirmed, you will receive emails with important information regarding your rental. For this reason, please make sure the email you provide (in the shipping section) is one you check regularly. If necessary, you can contact us and provide an alternate email address after placing an order.
What if the device gets lost/damage on the way back?
You are responsible for the safe and timely return of your pocket wifi. For this reason, we always recommend using a trackable return method (EMS).
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept card payments from Paypal /Credit Card / Debit card
When am I debited ?
The debit happens a few days after the online payment.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, we do have a deposit, as the hotspot and SIM card are expensive!
After the booking process, you will be charged the amount of your rental (daily price x duration), and you will authorize a 2,500THB deposit. The deposit won’t be debited, unless we don’t receive the hotspot. More info on the Terms and Conditions page.
Do you accept cash or any other forms of payment apart from Paypal?
Currently we accept payment only through PayPal. But please note that, you don’t need to have a Paypal account to make the payment. You can use your credit or debit card to make the payment without making a Paypal account.
